Ah shipping...an age old tradition. We call them slash fiction back in the days.
But seriously though, It's just part of the fun in consuming fictional works. It's fun to see how your favourite characters would fare in different dynamics. shipping isn't only present in bl, there are gl ships and straight ships too, like eren/historia for example.......
