How do you write a comic story

I’m trying to make a bl comic story and the story isn’t as great as I imagined. So I’m wondering how do you make a great Bl story? My Main characters are a shy awkward guy and a energetic guy. I’m good at making story ideas but when I re read my story it seems boring and cringe. I don’t have friends to read it because it’s a bl story lol

I like stories that have one of the three: great characters&ok story, ok characters& great story and great for both. If you think you are good with stories, maybe you are missing some world building or some extra character development and such.
