In case you missed it, a lot of Korean Authors are now discovering their works being uploaded here and are now requesting their works to be removed (Even the author of BJ Alex tweeted it and she has a lot of followers so I'm pretty sure that a lot of korean bl authors are going to also do the same thing). I'm just curious as to how it would affect the popularity of BLs since I think without this site a lot of those webtoons won't be discovered by a lot of people who ended up supporting the author after seeing it here.
I just hope that the issue would settle down since a lot of people on twitter (aka the legal readers) are posting it.
authors are really expecting us to pay just to see some pornos, huh... i don’t think it will affect the popularity or anything like that, people are just not going to read it. because, really, unless you’re a hardcore fan... i don’t really think any sane person is actually going to spend real money just to see a writer fetishizing two gay du...... 4 reply
Here's my take: tbh I think only the bigger books will come down from the authors with the biggest followings such as Bj alex, painter of the night, love is an illusion, etc. And even those dont look much likely to be taken down.
But for the smaller authors who also have a good following but not as big as the rest, sure they can send their minion...... reply
I think we all have to acknowledge that it’s 100% valid that these artist are wanting their works down/not wanting them on free websites. Taking that in, I believe the popularity will somewhat decrease if mangago leaves since it’s just a famous site lmao and I HOPE everyone/most that are using this free website cannot afford to buy these storie...... reply
