I’ve always wondered this, it just doesn’t make sense. The real reason is because their engines are so strong and powerful to carry so much weight and go far distances that speed is a side effect of that. I have a feeling it’s also useful for the sake of just bragging, “I have a car that can go 200mph” etc. It also appeals to those who do......
