Would you ever recommend yaoi manga to a friend/sister who's like 3 years younger than you? Let's say that you're 17/18 and your friend is 14. Is that normal? I'm not talking about yaoi manga that's obviously porn. I'm talking about normal yaoi manga that has a good plot and interesting characters (like Life Senjou no Bokura, Blue Lust and Sojou No Koi Wa Nido Haneru). I've just recently joined a new friend group and one of the girls (she's 18 years old) says that she discusses yaoi with her 14 year old sister. Is that too weird?

Not really in my opinion. They're just discussing and talking about their hobby. It's not like the older sister is telling the younger to go and do drugs or shit. I got guy and girl friends who's much older than me and talks about it without really thinking about it. Yaoi? Shounen-Ai? Porn? No problem as long as it's not drugs or alcohol. No of course not. I mean you said its not porn so why would it matter. Its No different from recommending any other manga. It just happens to have gay people in it. And if that bothers them (In a homophobic way) they can fuck off 1 reply

its okay between siblings but by legal means it is illegal. Especially if one is an adult and the other is a minor. But from a moral stand point it should be ok if they're siblings and just discussing it. reply
