Authors stopping the uploaders from posting their work here

Hello! This is my first time asking a question here. I recently noticed that a few of my favorite manhuas/manhwas has been stopped from being uploaded here since the authors messaged the uploaders and told them to stop uploading their works here. Btw I'm not complaining in any sort of way I'm just curious as to why now? Most of these manhuas/manhwas already has 30+ chapters. Is it because of the recent issue of the author of Blind Play? She's very outspoken about her work being uploaded here and even attempted to "doxx" the uploader of her work.

Again, I'm not complaining. The authors has the right to stop their work from being uploaded here but why now?

Just wanted to thank you first for being polite and not trying to justify how authors shouldn't be complaining about their works being uploaded illegally or acting like you have the right to read comics. It's because they happen to be finding the site now. It didn't HAVE to be now but it just happen to be now since t's a lot easier to find them n...... 2 reply

I'm pretty sure it's beacause most of them are just finding out that their work is being published illegally, because they haven't had the time or thought their work would be uploaded here since they're busy with other important things. As well as these sites being brought to light and other authors pointing it out how their work is being uploaded,...... reply

Probably because they see more and more authors doing it, so they're starting to think they can do it together. Tbh, it's no use they only come to mangago. There are hundreds of sites, Korean, Spanish, Russian, yet they only ever come here to ask ask for them to get removed. 1 reply

Yes, it was because of the author of blind play, she was the one who started some campaign or smth surveys lol. And one thing to say, mangago has been trending lately so ofc since it's trending more authors find this site. 2 reply

for some authors it may be due to new popularity of their work renewed popularity a new addition you never really know but at the end of the day the bottom line is money and lets face it the authors have every right to say F this site 2 reply
