Friendzoned

I did but I never confessed (unrequited love is real) .He gave me wrong signs, how could I say? He held my hands tightly everyday even I tell him to let go he wouldn't, we're close and seatmates, always together and known for years. may be I assumed? And he just wanted to mess with me? Even our classmates thought we were dating. And one of our classmates asked him, he said "no and will never be" because one of my ex is his friend and it will just build an awkward situation between them if ever. We're still friends tho, he's the closest guy friend I have. Yeah! I moved on already, it was not that deep feelings.
