same, koe no katachi hit me so deep cause I used to have a classmate in the same situation (deaf and couldn't talk properly). We weren't very mean to him cause we were in high school, but he was kinda ostracized.
but yeah, the storyline is pretty realistic that I couldn't help but cry for the whole hour
