1. You do not care about the authors, so quit being a hypocrite

2. You know for the fact that there is a lot of legal apps that offer ways to unlock chapters, not just by paying actual money. You are just too lazy to make an effort.

3. If the webtoon has been legally translated in your country, you still won't pay for it

4. Quit @ the authors on Twitter with your illegally translated story, illegally uploads, and stop going to their accounts just to say you can't pay for it because you are broke. They do not give a shit at all, you are a thief in their eyes if you read it illegally.

5. Quit saying you will stop supporting the authors when you didn't even pay for it in the first place

6. Quit saying that illegal sites make their webtoons popular, they do not give a shit they don't get paid enough for it. Compare the views of a webtoon on an illegal site and a webtoon on a legal site/app

7. You do not care about the authors and only care about your entertainment stop saying “I feel bad for the authors but I'm---” STF up as long as you continue reading on illegal sites and watching anime illegally you do not care about how they feel you do not feel bad for them

the way you worded it out was terrible. let me break it down for you.

NOTE: this only implies to mangas. im not sure about webtoons since you can support them on the app webtoon or lenz.

1. yes it’s best to support the authors but not everyone has the money to do so.

2. when a manga gets popular on ANY website, many readers would like to have it physically since it’s better and has more updated chapters. so it’s actually good that a manga is popular in any website or social media.

3. how do you think people MAINLY upload chapters here? they buy them obviously.

4. me, myself will AT LEAST buy the first volume of a manga i really like to show support. but because i don’t have a lot on me, i can only afford one.

5. many readers would love to buy them. but at times they just can’t. maybe because of their nosy family or them being strict on what they buy, (like mine), or they just simply can’t afford it.

6. because of its popularity many would end up talking about it which gets others to buy it or read it on their official website or however it is, since many people prefer that.

and lastly you acting unbothered from these replies just shows how much you don’t even care yourself. you made a whole account just to say something so stupid?

also this is the internet. no matter what there’ll always be free books to read off of them. there’s nothing you can do. but in the end there’s still people who CAN, supporting them.

also with webtoons some of them are VERY overpriced and the chapters or episodes or whatever are very short based on what i’ve seen. not everybody can be supporting the authors till the webtoon is finished you know.
