People are soooo... Oblivious of this Psychological trick that authors used
Second couples where purposely created to be different from the 1st couple because it will keep the manhwa running. Not because it is better than the 1st couple
Lets take Banana Scandal for example:
The 1st couple is so much fluffy, while the 2nd couple is dramatic or problematic. Now, the readers usually like the 2nd couple more because they think it is "better than the 1st couple," but no. It isnt better. The author tricks the mind of the readers on thinking that the 2nd couple is better in order to make the manhwa or project run smoothly or progressively, when in fact, the two of the couple are equally good, the readers are only tricked that the 2nd couple is more better.
Now for the reason, if we change the plots of the couple (In Banana Scandal)? the 1st couple is too dramatic while the 2nd couple is fluffy, then who will be most better?
Ofcourse it is not the the problematic couple that is better, but rather the 2nd couple because author's tricked us with that kind of mindset that 2nd couple is more better.
I do hope people can understand what Im trying to say because I also have an analogy:
> In bargaining, assume that the author (is the seller), the readers (is the buyer), while the manhwa (is the object we bought). The 1st couple (is the higher price), while the 2nd couple (is the lower price)
Now, The seller (or author) choose to sell the object in higher price, then the buyer will thinks that it is too pricey, thus the seller lowers the price in order to make the buyer think that the lower price is better. It is just same for manhwa, we think the second couple is better, but the second couple was created to have different plot in order to make it sell by the author.
Im writing this thing hoping that someone could understand. My point is stop saying that the 2nd couple is better than the 1st couple because we are just tricked by the authors in thinking that the 2nd couple is better.
