So, a little while ago I had this discussion with my brother, as we're both working adults now.
There are this social stigma and peer pressure around us (unlike when we're both still young ) that the normal thing to do is to get married.
If not, you're weird, or something is wrong with you.
But honestly ? seriously? will you ?

My parents marriage sucked. Growing up with it, I’m thrown off by marriage. It’s so jacked up to be some grand ritual that cost way too much when all you need to do is go to a court house and people mostly do it just for the benefits. So no. As of right now and the latest 24 years of my life, it’s not something I ever want. reply
