Tbh I'm not surprised considering that Japan hasn't legalized same-sex marriage. But even then, I doubt any anime will have healthy and realistic depictions of mlm or wlw considering all those disgusting yaois...   reply

no representation is better than bad representation in my opinion. we will have to wait for a while to get one that is made in a proper way with good representation. we are all in this together.   1 reply

idk dude I don't think anime is going to include any actual queer characters since lgbtqai+ is such a sensitive and controvertial subject. They get backlash for every little thing from the western community so yea, it'll probably take awhile. Also there's other than just wholesome queer shit, it'd be nice to have messy queer stories too. Like yknow......   reply
