I think it’s really unfair to blame Naruto’s god awful ending on the editors, when Kishimoto never intended for NaruSasu to be canon and has said so multiple times. I don’t think the editors or creator are necessarily homophobic but that’s BS. Not in a society that ignores and overlooks homosexuality for the greater collective good.
