Ikr. I also did that, i aligned pillows at the bedroom so I could feel that I'm playing drums since I don't have a kit at home too, but it didn't work out for me.. I didn't attend drum lessons, its not because I don't want too but because I can't afford it.. coz its quite expensive, so I just learned by watching and listening.. I didn't get a drumset for various reasons: its expensive, no space at home and neighbors will definitely complain which would lead to a need of having d room soundproofed first, then go back to the reason of it being expensive and all that.. A repeat cycle, you could say I'm a frustrated drummer, so sad..
So to ease the frustration even just a bit I went to different studios back then so I could play.. played gig and some jamming with my band mates since they play lead and bass guitars.. I definitely love alternative rock and soft metal too.. But what got me hooked to playing was The Corrs' song "I Never Really Loved You Anyway". Their drummer is a girl though they are all siblings 4 of them.
Then got hooked to anime, and listened to their music as well since I also find their music way too great.. Obsessed with One Ok Rock, a Jap band.. I'm also an avid fan of Jap songs you might say. Now can speak and listen to Nihonggo at times even without Eng subs. I'll have to improve my reading and writing though ^_^
I started reading yaoi way too late, just around January this year.. Can u believe that? And I regret not doing it way back then. I felt like I wasted a lot of time, years not doing it. One of my regrets in my life or so to speak... (︶︿︶)
omggggg i would give up soooo much to get drum lessons and im also a girl┗( T﹏T )┛i would actually sell some mangas of mine just get to play..... its sad idk anyone that has any in my area and theyre pretty expensive so i cant just buy a drum kit..... ive been obsessed with drums for a good few years now but the only drum kit i ever sat at is my desk and various things i use and two knitting needles i found and i drum to my favourite rock songs lol............. life is sad.
