Meanwhile the first chapter book I ever fully read by myself and comprehended what I was reading, was when I was in 4th grade ;-; I’m crazy good at math tho, so I guess it balances out.   reply

Hyperlexia is usually a "splinter skill" (unique skill w/o much practical application) that you often see in those with Autism. It's not always associated with Autism, but that's what it's commonly linked with. I see this in the kid I tutor. He has Autism and reads like WHOA fast and high level, but struggles to write and do other types of communic......   reply

i read adult in elementary but i couldnt even read in kindergarten lmao wtf we were still learning the alphabet. The price is that I'm now behind in literature and cannot comprehend, read, or write anything anymore :')   reply
