Knowing me, I'd probably not notice till I go to the toilet, in panic I'd definitely call the trustworthy mother. After all when somethings missing she'd usually be the one to find it first... or not, in this case...
She'd probably sarcastically congratulate me over the phone, then say I should probably change my name... yep... Moms the word...
