Mine are homophobic too, but I can’t blame them because our entire society is homophobic, they were born and taught that it was wrong, and they didn’t have the internet and social media back then to learn more about homosexuality. So I still love them never the less, because they’re kind people and have big hearts, they’re not racist though......   2 reply

Uhm I do but I don't, I come from a well off family and sure they raised me, but it's too much my mom scolds me once I get a B and tells me I could have done better. My dad is nice, but he's never around because of work. I once told my mom everything like how I felt and she just slapped me and gave me a disgusting look then she said, "You have ......   2 reply

So I believe I can quietly and slowly let them see the light. Sometimes they hit me and my sister and make me feel like shit. It's only because they're my one and only pair of parents that......   reply

I also love and miss my dad who has passed away, even though he wasn't the easiest person to get along with. I love and respect my mom very much for all......   1 reply

It's a yes and no for me. They're kinda homophobic and racist too. They also blame me for not having friends, when they literally forbid me to hang out with them, and shrink my confidence on how "they're better than you", "just look at them compared to you."   3 reply

I actually will talk to my mom on a regular basis and will help her with shopping and cooking. The only thing I don't like is that my dad brags about my bro......   reply

Honestly, a small part of me does love my mom but I can't ever get over the fact that she force-fed me oil blessed by a pastor bc I said didn't believe in god and that I was queer. She's my religious trauma.   2 reply
