Well, i'm a straight female too, but i don't like hentai/ecchi, i literally don't watch anime with "ecchi" on the genre even my friends tell me that theres not much ecchi things in it and the story is good. I still skipped it.
But i do like yaoi, like a looottt. I found yaoi as a cute stories, even there is some rape in it but still. I think hent......
