I used to only read complete work as well. It's easier to get myself immersed in the story and to think about the characters along the way...
But recently, i feel that for ongoing webtoons, there's this weird sense of accomplishment that you feel upon seeing a chapter update after those wait. Especially for stories that i really like and get update......
