Careful how you get them pierced

Piercing guns get a lot of people hospitalized or even losing part of their ear lobe, piercing needles almost never have that problem. Piercing guns cause more damage to the skin when they pierce so it's just riskier. Also go to a good piercer. My first piercings done with a piercing gun didn't stop being sore for a decade, but my newer piercings done with a needle healed fully after one month. Skip Claire's or Icing or Piercing Pagoda if you have any other options at all, try a piercing parlor or even look at tattoo studios in your area as they are trained professionals and Claire's has just a retail worker with one day of training piercing you.
