I ran away from a lot when I was younger

not that my parents noticed.I had an abusive childhood so I was always looking for ways to escape and just get away for a while. It was the time I was gone for multiple days that they actually realized I was gone. I had run away an was missing for two weeks I hid at a friend of mine's abandoned house which was way better than being at home.. I thought it was so much fun when the cops came to check the place out I was hiding in plain sight and didn't get caught.. When I was finally found I told the cops everything that had been happening some of which were lies and I was then removed from my home..
