I don't think we should discriminate ppl who are lgbtq+ cuz we should all be treated equally but I think it's some sort of a spiritual problem or a mental disorder. I am asexual. I don't think LGBT+ is an abomination or a sin. I remember reading someone commenting somewhere a long time ago something along the lines of "that if god loves us all why would he make people gay just to make them suffer?" Some people think it's a sin because theoretically LGBT people *can't* have kids so them having sex is a sin sin......   1 reply

I am a 21 year old straight woman that has a super homophobic mom. Me and my mom have totally different opinions on the LGBTQ+ community and hopefully this helps to understand a little bit. When I was younger, I pretty much pretended it didn't exist. My immigrant asian parents never really explained gender identity and sexuality to me growing up, they saw it as something that was uniquely American, modern.
