I've always felt distant from the people around me. Recently I've figured out that I'm demisexual. While I'm still a bit confused about myself and my sexuality, would I be able to relate to others and be considered part of the lgbtq+ community or any other community if I would be demi-heterosexual?
Just like how Bi people can have a small preference towards the same gender they’re still valid so yea I would say you would be considered a part of the lgbtq+ community. reply
correct me if im wrong but isn't anyone who isn't a cis or a straight allosexual part of the lgbtq+ community? im asexual so i could be considered part of it but im not social in the slightest so i wouldnt know.. also i think you'd be considered part of the asexual community as it can be used as an umbrella term bc there's a large spectrum. i heard...... 1 reply
Of course! In my opinion anyone who isn’t completely straight/cis is apart of the lbgtq+ community. Also don’t worry if you feel somewhat out of the community or people are arguing over wether or not your sexuality belongs cause it’s not just you: I’m ace and I always find that there’ll be at least one person who says that your sexuality ...... reply
