Imo you can't really compare hentai to yaoi, because not all yaoi mangas are pure smut, some of them actually have a plot and development, hentai on the other hand is just sex and the dude doesn't even have a face most of the time.
So yeah, in a nutshell, I don't enjoy hentai because of what mentioned above. I guess you can say I'm a romanticist. ......
