I mean isn’t that neglect? Maybe tell her that the dog could possibly die from overheating or heat exhaustion? Especially if you live in an area where it gets really hot then I, personally, would consider it abuse. At the very least you can try to convince her to allow you to take care of the dog outside or maybe give it a little table to chill u......   reply

I don't think its okay. But I get what your saying tho, and had my dad do that. But its kinda different bc my dogs are rottweiler and a doberman. Otherwise summer and winter, its not okay. It's to hot and winter is to cold for some dogs to be out. So try to talk with you mom about it, but don't just say she'll be a "murderer" cause.. that might be ......   reply

As a person who has a dog and a mother who hates dogs even though she had some when she was younger NO it is NOT OK! No, its not ok. a dog can have heat stroke too ya know. If you really can't bring the dog inside then atleast keep him in a place with shade or a windy place.   1 reply
