Based off another question on here, but I just realized that I read a lot of yaoi stories (I read other things too, its not just exclusively yaoi content) but I don't really have any reason why I like it other than it's entertaining? Like I have no super deep or emotional reason to read so much of it, but I do anyway? Does that even make sense? So I'm just curious as to why other people read it and like it so much, because maybe then I can relate and understand myself more?
It turns me on and lights me up and I feel happier and more alive. I LOVE yaoi! Catherine loves Heathcliff, and I've been in love, but for now and for all my life there is at least this. 2 reply
