I am almost to legally an adult, and I just bought something that was $60. And it's not worth $60. And I am not their target Audience, it's a fucking kids doll. And it's really pretty, I mean just look at it.
I kept on getting so many ads about it, and I just couldn't resist, and that's not the worst part. The worst part is that I don't regret this purchase. There is not a single drop of regret in my soul. And you think that would be a good thing, but I just feel like... since I know it's not worth what I bought it before, but shouldn't I be feeling bad? I don't think I'm ready to be an adult yet. Cuz I don't feel regret, I just feel shame for not regretting it. And I actually kind of want to buy a bunch of them because they're actually really pretty and I love them...

There is no shame in that. I’m already an adult, and I still am weak for all kinds of cute stuff. Honestly, I don’t know why some people think that at a certain age they need to stop liking things. Like where is the switch?
This I learned in my economics class: if you are willing to pay for it, then it is worth it.
So my advise to you, if you like something and you can afford it without skewing other responsibilities, then go for it. There is no shame in liking something that might be considered “childish” just because your age may say otherwise.
Thank you for the advice, it's always been told to me that I can't always be this way so I guess it's been sitting in my head which gives me the shame for not really regretting this type of thing. So this was definitely comforting to read!
Well adulting just means you have a lot more of responsibilities... you can buy whatever you want ain’t no shame about it ...

I totally can relate... but you know no matter how old you are, you are still you, the same person... maybe one day you won’t be interested in those things but if you are right now, then no matter your age go for it! I personally think it’s cute
Reading this made me happy, thank you! And it really is cute, I put her in her oversized sweater which has with bunny crossbones on the front of it. I have to put on her cute little bunny slippers and her hair is so long, so I braided it up. I'm honestly having a lot of fun with this doll.
