Case in point: the greatest love of my life is a guy that held my eyes (in a very intense manner) ONCE! And I loved him2 years straight.

From my point of view you trust people too much, that is why you can like whoever. Some of those guys you like might be really nice, but some other may be complete assholes, and if some day you have bad experiences you will probably put some defensive barriers that will help you to not open your heart to anybody that easily.
