Why?

"don't judge a book by its cover" doesn't solely apply to good or underestimated people. judge everyone based on their moral sense and overall humanity. I see a murdering psycho mf in a story, I automatically overlook their attractiveness, deem them unlikable, and anticipate their defeat. I mean, I also want to understand how this ain't always the case in fiction if what you preach irl is somewhat parallel to this...

the "attractive" reason to simp over such characters is shallow, tbh. if that's what you got from reading/watching a whole ass story then idk what else to say.
