straight A students, HOW THE F*CK—
Bruh, so there I was all happy that I raised all my D’s and F’s up to B’s and only 1 C, and then I here an acquaintance of mine complaining that they had a terrible grade in math.
I was curious cuz math is the only non free choice class (electives) that I had an A in, so I asked what the damage was.
THEY WERE SAD AND DISCOURAGED ABOUT A B+, but like concerning-ly sad.
SO NOW I AM HERE TO TELL YOU STRAIGHT A STUDENTS OUT THERE A B+ WON’T HURT YOU ITS OKAY TRUST ME, KEEP ON SUCCEEDING,
but like please chill (￣∇￣")

(grades ≠ your value as a human being or how successful you’ll be in the future :p)
I’m pressured into getting A’s, my family and I aren’t as privileged as other people. I’m first generation immigrant and a PoC, they just want me to have a better life than they did which I understand. If I fail school or get shitty grades, my parents won’t have the money to support me in the future, so yeah.
