Disagree. If this were true, people also wouldn't get confused between sexual attraction and love. That confusion happens -all- the time. It's not so clear cut. Also, there's plenty "I want the best for you and yours, and I like spending time with you" BUT "I'd strangle you if I lived with you" sort of relationships.
