To me yaoi is something that is for entertainment and makes me laugh, smile, cry, and brings all these emotions I am scared to express in my daily life. I am presently 22 years old. If I had to guess when I first started reading/watching yaoi, I believe I was 13 years old. I think my first exposure to yaoi was when I took a dive into the Junjou Romantica anime. Yaoi just means Japanese gay porn to me. Hey hey~ i don't really want to say my age but i started reading yaoi around when i was 12 or 13. To me yaoi is just another romance genre, i personally like it more because there are a lot of cliché shoujo mangas that aren't really my cup of tea and i usually find the characters annoying stereotypes.
