“true friends”
Quite frankly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a true friend. Throughout my life, I constantly wanted the attention and to be their “number one” best friend. After middle school, I just gave up. However, during quarantine, I have met someone online though. I dated this guy I met on a game and he introduced me to a group of his discord friends. I began to hang out with the group and this one girl in particular— I feel could qualify as a “true friend.” She listens to my struggles, gives me advice, etc. Plus, we share common interests like yaoi, anime, HOT 2D MEN, + kpop. Even after our break-up, she chose to continue talking to me. I feel like the only reason I’m still in that group is because she helped me talk to the others. Often, I get concerned that I’m too boring in calls though and that she’s slowly fading away from our friendship. I get attached easily and worry about getting abandoned :/

Well, in my opinion; "true friends" doesn't have to be a permanent label we put on others. I think that we all have to face the reality of friendship. Not all friendships last forever, but that doesn't mean they were a true friend. If it wasn't meant to be, it wasn't meant to be. Some bonds don't last. But some friendships do last, even till death. Some are meant to be, some are I don't think your friend seems to be the type of person to just leave you. You guys really seem to have a good bond. So I really hope you guys can last long.
if you feel this way i suggest telling her this and get her thoughts also...and also if you feel uncomfortable with the friend group you can leave them and just talk on priv with this girl.
