yea, sorry to break it to you, but at this point everyone will get offended over anything, ill intentions or not. they probably thought you were trying to be a goody two shoes, and be randomly nice to them, so they got annoyed because they never asked for the recs. not your fault, but this is the perfect example of why i don't interact with anyone,......
