I started reading yaoi off/on in my late teens/early twenties. I immediately liked it, even though at the time I felt like it was something I was "too old" to be reading. But screw that! I'm 28 years old. I'm gonna read what I want. So I've been reading yaoi almost on a daily basis since November.
