GLs are far better, BLs have been clouded with rape/ toxic relationships im not saying that GLs can't have toxic relationships but its far less then BLs. I also like GLs because it doesn't have much people trying to cover for toxic relationships like BLs, for example I will see everywhere that Love is a Illusion is such a great story or the couple ......   4 reply

a good gl is 10 times better than a good bl but there is so little gl and most of them dont do a good job at capturing the feelings girls have for other girls...its hard   reply

I read both, but if I had to choose then BL. Reading GL makes me really sad because all I think about is “That could be me but Society.” I kinda project myself as the MC when it comes to GL and I don’t like that :/   reply

I don't read nither as much but as a lesbian, I'm obliged by the lesbianism gods and the CDC to say GL even though the plots are always lackluster and just fluff with a bit of foreseeable angst. however, there aren't as many "rape but you like it" scenes. anywho read chainsaw man (unless you don't like a lot of gore)   reply

GL for sure! (TLDR AT THE BOTTOM) BL is often full of rape and sexual assault, and it romanticises it a lot, so it's difficult to find a good one. It also often relies on harmful stereotypes and reduces characters down to their position in sex which is just a yikes for me. I love both but if I had to chose it would be GL. Because of how most of the time BL romanticizes and normalizes r@pe and toxic relationships, it could just be that im more of a fluff person ╮(￣▽￣)╭   reply

GL comics I like I truly adore, but there are way more BL I like even tho what I feel for those isn't as intense. On one hand, with GL everything is very personal to me, it's hard for me not to see my loneliness and romantic failures on pages of someone else's story. This is good when happy stuff is happening, bc then I'm over the roof and gratef......   2 reply
