Definitely back in high school my friends knew I read yaoi...because a lot of them were reading it as well. I'm pretty sure my brother knows that I like yaoi, however I have never asked him, nor talk about it with him.
I keep this part of myself pretty separate from my "public" life, settling for reading it online and posting fanfiction.
