“Innocent” bottoms/ukes

I’m always seeing mangas, specifically yaoi, where the roles are already known and placed and the one that’s the permanent “bottom” or “uke” are described as “innocent” in a good amount of these stories. But what’s weird to me is that these bottoms aren’t innocent, but just have the mentality and personality of a little child, while their partner has the opposite and almost always a mature and/or perverse mentality or personality and I find that to be low key sexualizing pedophilia and/or huge age gaps( even if they’re close in age, I mean mentality wise)where one partner has the majority of the power in the relationship every time. Idk, this is just my own opinion and don’t know if I’m just looking a little too deepヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~.
