I think it's important to write traumatic scenarios but it has to be done right. It has to be talked about, carefully of course. Writing rape into fiction can make characters more relatable but you HAVE to make it clear it was a terrible thing. I don't like how a big trope in romance is rape that kicks off a relationship.
