growing up
if u like- read or watch any type of fictional stories, like manga/hwa/hua, anime, cartoon etc. from a young age, u must be have like a lot of favorite character right, especially when they're around ur age n relatable bla bla bla
but when u reaches the adult age, like when u turn 19 or maybe around the 20st n u still like those character who basically didnt grow up-cuz they're fictional- is it okay tho? like yk, some ppl says there's a part on our brain that thinks fictional stuff r just the same as real life, and for us to still like, make a highschooler character a husbu n stuff yk, do y'all catch what im trying to say? ㅠㅠ
does that makes me a creep if in the future when im becoming an adult but then i like this one character who's apparently 15 or stuff, i dont mean it in any weird way tho, like just fond of the character in a genuine way
JJEHEJHDJEIE HELPPP WOULD IT BE UNACCEPTABLE OR WHAT SOMEONE ENLIGHTEN ME PLS
do people actually think its creepy? bruh there's plenty of people who like miraculous ladybug and they're adults, its fine bro don't think too much of it

Are we talking "like" as in they're cool and shit or "like" as in how y'all slobber over bnha characters?
Regardless of how old you are, one's fine and the other's not. Shouldn't need to spell out which is which.

Yeah of course you can. I still like Kim Possible and Yusei Fudo because they are cool characters that have marked my childhood. If you don't like those kind of characters in a sexual/romantic way, then it is ok. Liking a character who is a minor doesn't automatically equate to being a creep.

Them 2D characters just be too bae(╯°Д °)╯╧╧ Anyways I know once I am an adult imma still like Killua and all the other hotties. I don't think my feelings will be as intense but they'll still be the real OGs and have a place in my heart. I don't re......

i love/hate this narrative because every time the "people can't distinguish fiction from reality!" cry comes up, it sounds disgustingly like the 18th century Moral Panic that thought that women in particular were too stupid to know the difference between what they read in novels and what they knew in real life. no there's no age-limit on the charac......

no no cause the way i think about this sometimes but I think that by that age you'll probably just be detached from the character and you can reminisce about it i suppose.
cause i think that's what your supposed to do or whats supposed to happen by then
so in short I think you'll outgrow them I guess

I don't think it's bad. This happened to me I was a really big of mha back when it first aired and by that time I was the same age as the students so of course I loved some characters. Now that I'm adult I still love these characters but I don't view them the same way.
You can't magically stop liking a character just bc you grew up and that's fine.......
