So I have a school assignment where I am supposed to ask questions about someone who isn't like me. I chose transgender because I do not know many people who identify as transgender and I don't want to accidentally offend someone I know so I chose to ask these questions on this board because most of the people here seem very nice.

1. When did you realize that you were transgender?
2. What kind of impact has being transgender had on your relationships (any type-romantic, friendship, family)
3. Why do some people prefer singular pronouns (he/she) and others prefer plural pronouns (they/them)
4. Do you think being transgender affected your sexuality?
5. What is one thing that you wish all cis-gendered people knew.

I knew I was trans when I kept having anxiety attacks when I was about to have sex with my boyfriend. Of course, as a girl, guys are supposed to stick in you, but I didn't want that, moreover, I wanted to stick it him. If that makes sense. I realized I was transgender when my cousin who is FtoM transgender came out and told me it was okay to be transgender. I was always upset by the social stigma of me being a girl and I needed to act a certain way and fall in love with guys only my whole life.
