i used to when i was in school, definitely brightness down was the go-to, but i enjoy it more when im by myself in my room
side note: my lil sister also reads yaoi and i always have to ask her to leave the room while im reading because she's ruining my vibe. i just feel awkward when someone is there, its distracting
