Some of my friends can read shounen ai manga, especially if its with adventure/fantasy plot, but i've shown them the slice of life kind of yaoi/shounen ai, they said its not that they can't read it, but they just not interested with it, one of my friend said it just like reading a romance shoujo manga, which is not his preferable genre.   reply

Now I’m curious too! :) I have guy friends who knew that I read yaoi and they did not say anything bad and all. I even asked them to try reading even just a chapter and they said they can’t, like it’s not their preferred genre at all.   reply

I kept it a secret from everyone. But I showed it to my ex-boyfriend once. He was like”oh, you read this kind of book?” And after he read couple of chapters he looks a little awkward. And then I pretend that I only read yaoi out of curiosity.(we haven’t date each other at that time.)   reply
