my mom did this to me too and I asked her why was it so bad, and she told me that its not asking why, its not giving context. people don't fill it in by themselves so you have to explain why you are asking why. like instead of just why you can say "why do I have to do this when I can do this instead" or something like that depending on what ur aski......
