I really, REALLY hate the idea that the idea that a lot of BL authors seem to be getting lately that being pointlessly edgy = FINE ART!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!
Granted, this is a problem that's seen almost everywhere in fiction (fantasy, magical girl anime, etc...) but it's something......
