Thing in general, or just manga? In the case of the latter, I would have to go with Oyasumi Punpun. I'll never understand why great authors like the mangaka of this story would want to use their talent to write something so utterly hopeless. for me it would have to be Sakura Gari. ive been reading berserk and so far it is pretty messed up also. the strangest would have to be pupa. the whole concept of the manga is just odd to begin with.
