To yall kink shaming
I saw a lot of yall mfers on another question kink shaming people and while i get where yall are coming from, (its not easy to accept people's kinks smtimes), there could be a lot of shit behind someone's kink
A lot of people that have kinks are people that at some point in their lives have been raped or sexually assaulted. And as a result in order for them to cope with that reality they end up developing a kink
(i an not saying that EVERY person with a kink is a rape/sexual assault survivor nor am i saying that every person that has been raped/sexually assaulted has developed a kink)
For an example i have a friend of mine that when she was a child she was raped by a person really close to her. As a result she developed a kink. That kink has helped her cope with that experience since she is the one in control of the play, she sets her boundaries and says what is acceptable/ isn't acceptable and she is the one letting the other person have that control over her body. In conclusion she is reclaiming in a way the consent that was once taken away from her
So to end this, every time you are kink shaming someone there is a high possibility that you are making fun of a victim of sexual assault, keep that in your mind
So yall try to be understanding humans are complicated af
I think I’m gonna keep kink shaming lmao.
