in a lot of webtoons on here they have straight up racism, i dropped a bunch of them just bc of it. its not even beauty standards anymore, its just racist. its just so blatant and disrespectful. they have the nerve to say shit about her skin/nose, but want her to keep full lips. nah bro keep that same energy

yeaa the colorism shows, garlic nose lmaoo. maybe its just me but anytime in webtoons/kdrama... whenever they say "pale, bright, white" but they look like ghosts in my eyes and its a cringe

Yeah, it does, but the environment an artist is in will leak into their work. I'm not saying is okay, but the issue here is bigger than just the artists of manhwa. It's the beauty standards of the place they live.
