Question about Manga
I have a question what decides if a manga gets an official English translation? Cause I’m kinda annoyed Blue Sky Complex doesn’t have one, it’s extremely good and is pretty popular too, in the 2020 bl awards it won
3rd for best bl series
Motochika (mc) 1st in best top
Terashima (ml) 2nd in best bottom
3rd in blcd
Proof:
https://www.chil-chil.net/blAwardRank/y/2020/ I’m pretty sure that’s all the categories they got nominated for (it also got pretty good rankings in 2019)
And it got nominated for “manga we want animated”
https://anime-japan.jp/main/ajranking/ No.77 (plz vote)
(it’s already amazing it’s there since there’s only like 3 bl’s out of 103 series)
Sooo why doesn’t it have one when it’s a beautiful masterpiece, why do a lot of shit series have one but not the actual good ones (speaking about quite a few)
Sorry for the rant I just love it so much
Read this tweet from a licensing company on why Blue Sky Complex hasn't been officially licensed yet (at least for them, but it applies to most other publishers as well seeing that it hasn't been licensed yet at all):

In short, licensing is an agreement between two parties and for whateve......
