I piece my own ears (only on the earlobe) with a needle. I take the earring out, clean it and the ear itself ever night using rubbing alcohol and a anti-itch cream then putting the earrings back in. And normally after about 3 or 4 weeks I can stop doing that because they are fully recovered. I would also recommend real metal earrings because when I used a fake one, the piercing got infected. I hope this helps. Also twisting the earrings though out random parts of the day can also help, I dunno why I just does. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Yeah, I have two cartilage piercings. One was done when I was a teenager (16 years ago), and it was done by a piercing gun-- It has never healed. The second piercing was done a year ago by a needle, and it's already healed.
Is it in the cartilage? Those piercings takes 6-12 months to heal. Did you do it with a piercing gun? Then it might not heal at all, since it is very unsafe.
